” a little bit of bells” – when I came across the little images in the letter presented studio I wanted to use the image of bells in the letterpress rather than writing it out because I thought it would be something different, “Bells” being my nickname so it’s fitting. The text in my poster was made by letter press, I thought it was a nice touch to add texture and different medium to the poster. I like how the ink hasn’t printed perfectly- in a way it resembles how me and my life aren’t perfect. The rest of the illustrations were done digitally and represent some things that make up who I am (my nationality, social media sadly) and some things that I like (my dog, sunsets, sculpture and art from the past). Part of me wanted to just have the text with no images but I didn’t think that would portray much revolving around myself although it could also be a more powerful message to do with the fact that a lot of my recent life has a feeling of emptiness to it.
